One of the things I do when I’m not coaching classical singers & musicians or being a sewist/craft person is take photos.
I started blogging around 2007 for two reasons: To keep up my writing chops — something I’d done as a communications specialist — and I wanted a reason to keep taking photos.
Blogging quickly became a way to do both, as well as possibly imparting a bit of knowledge & encouragement along the way. (And meeting wonderful, supportive fellow-bloggers around the world.)
Then came the idea to make up some cards to use for personal notes. Having dabbled in layout & design work even before it started going online, I had the tools to try that, too.
Then life got in the way until last year’s move. I started exploring Western New York state, which I knew had a rich classical music scene.
What I hadn’t realized was how much being the birthplace of photography, via Eastman & Kodak, had influenced the entire region. Having 4 seasons and world-class scenery certainly didn’t hurt!
Enter a fantastic retired Eastman Kodak printer with all the latest techno gizmos and plenty of artist clients, and everything fell into place.
So let me introduce a very limited edition of a 3-card set of florals I shot last year shortly after arriving.
Right now I’m not set up for sales, but I’d like to know your thoughts, Lovely Readers. What do you think?
❤️ As always, thanks for reading! ❤️
Sounds like a lot of fun!

We are. Have been home for a few days. It was nice to take a break to hang out in the salt air and waves.
