For this week’s WordPress challenge I rummaged in the 2011 shoebox and immediately found several piccies.
Most take advantage of the extra light and higher contrasts when snow’s on the ground. Considering recent storms everywhere, hope everyone can enjoy.

looking south on s dearborn toward the old dearborn station (see clock tower?), which used to be the railway gateway to the west coast. in the 30’s & 40’s movie & stage stars would wander the street, stretching their legs between trains connecting west & east coasts, on their way to hollywood, new york city, and everywhere between.
